Light and Love

In 2023, November 14th to be exact, I had a reading because I was curious about launching a coaching practice - I don't have readings regularly because my Spirit Guides tend to nudge me towards where I'm to go - my mom used to say I had a veil over my eyes and could see through, it took me many years to understand what she meant. At any rate, I was told to continue my focus on coaching because after what happens, in the year of 2025, there will be a great need for coaches for those who need help to get through this time period. I pushed and probed asking what is it that will happen in 2025, unfortunately my question was not answered, I was told and I must continue on the path I was currently on.

Fast forward to 2024, November as a matter of fact, a little over a week ago. I had booked another reading from the same individual because I wanted to talk about my writing journey and whether I should continue. To prepare this time I wrote four questions having to do with that, none had to do with the upcoming election, in fact, it hadn't resonated that it was the day before Americans would head to the polls. My Spirit Guides confirmed what they had been telling me all along about my writing and I added that I was visualizing more than normal and in fact, I was visualizing the outcome of our upcoming election. I was told the following: "while it is good to visualize what we want to see, there is only one outcome and there can only be peace. There's no need to worry, there will be hidden blessings. What will be created is change and change brings in new energy. It is needed, this shift for humanity."

I woke up the next morning with my body clearly alerting me something was amiss and I tried to ignore it so much so that I decided I would not watch the news that evening because like the year prior, we wouldn't get the final results until the weekend. I kept myself busy and wound up going to bed early waking at 2 a.m. and turned on the TV to see where counting was currently at however much to my surprise, I was seeing my candidate didn't win. I couldn't go back to sleep and continued to wonder why I felt so calm. Friends and family began texting me early asking did I see this coming, I knew I had been told.

I was asked by several individuals why this result had occurred and what came to my mind was, Our society seems like it may have changed. I'm not so sure we as a people vote for "we the people" as much as we as individuals vote for our own self interests. While that may sound selfish, I don't believe that's how it's meant to be, it just is. We're in a world where reality TV is the norm along with social and mainstream media feeling opinions you may or may not agree with, gaslighting occurs effortlessly. My point is, it's not the same as when I was young and my mom could only watch one of what -- three news channels which all more than likely reported the same information.

I read awhile ago that 2024 is the age of light and I find that interesting because when a light is shined bright on things, you get to see everything - the beauty along with the cracks and crevices such as bias, disrespect, selfishness, and so on. I also read 2025 is said to be the year of love which is also interesting yet different - love the way it's supposed to be is caring, respectful, unbiased, and typically of good nature - it is a change which can bring in new energy and peace for humanity. While we may see some things look like they're being broken apart in the upcoming year, I feel...I know we must remain vigilant and stand firm on a positive mindset. Those of us that walk in the light must help others during this time, we have the ability to help ignite a spark of light within them to dismantle their fear, their worry, their pain and give them the love and hope they may feel is now lost. Hope is never lost, we must band together as One in Unity for all.
